Waitlist, Deposit, Adoption Q&A
- What To Expect While On The WaitList
During the first 4-5 weeks, kittens are under evaluation for health, temperament, and structure. At times individual photos and/or videos may be posted. Please keep in mind, occasionally, a kitten will be kept back for evaluation and may be offered at a later time. If you see an individual photo of a kitten, you are welcome to inquire about it.
At 4-5 weeks, you will be contacted individually to be notified your turn has come for a kitten pick/selection. We will share our evaluation with you as to the personality, gender, and color/pattern of your preferred kitten(s).
Please keep in mind that you have 24 hours to reply once notified about the kitten, or we will move on to the next waitlist client.
Once contacted and offered a kitten pick/selection at 4-5 weeks of age, to choose and secure a particular kitten, a 50% Deposit must be made via Venmo, Cashier's Check, or Money Order.
Please Note: All Deposits are Non-Refundable.
- Can I Come Visit My Kitten(s)?
We are a closed cattery and do not allow in-person visits.
Unfortunately, for our personal safety and health, the control of parasites and disease, as well as ensuring the least stress induced on the kittens and parents, we must refrain from allowing visits until the kittens are at adoptable age, which is at the earliest 8-weeks-old. We will be happy to send videos of kittens' playtime as available and upon request.
- When Can I Bring My Kitten Home?
Your kitten will be able to go home with you when fully weaned by their mother(s), usually at 8 weeks of age.
We offer local pickup, we can meet at SEATAC airport, and we can help you arrange air transport. If interested in air transport within the US, services such as Pet Jet Pals, who provide in-cabin care with a loving pet nanny, will need to be secured by the adopting family. Their service fee ranges from $500 to $650. Please contact us if you would like more information on this option.
Transportation costs and arrangements are the sole responsibility of the adopting person/family.
When you are scheduled to pick up your kitten, please bring a cat carrier. Your final payment will be due at this time and must be paid by cash, cashier's check, or money order. You will be provided with all the kitten's paperwork, toys, and food.
We recommend having a small room ready for them when you get them home so that they can safely acclimate and start their journey to feeling secure in a new home. Please see our "Preparing for Kitten" tab above for helpful information.
